How to Use
Step 1: Remove the Etch
Use Lustro Italiano Etch and Water Mark Remover to polish away dull spots, etches, and light scratches. Depending on severity, results may appear within minutes or may require up to an hour of gentle polishing. This compound works chemically and mechanically to re-polish the surface and restore gloss.
Step 2: Clean the Stone
Clean the entire surface with Lustro Italiano Stone Cleaner. This pH-balanced cleaner contains no harsh detergents and will not harm your stone or existing sealer. It’s safe for daily use and ideal for maintaining countertops and vanities.
Step 3: Allow the Stone to Dry
Let the surface dry completely. Like a sponge, dry marble absorbs sealer more effectively, ensuring deep protection.
Step 4: Apply the Ultra Premium Stone Sealer
Apply Lustro Italiano Ultra Premium Stone Sealer according to the directions. Wait 30 minutes between coats and allow 4–6 hours for full curing. This high-performance Italian-made sealer penetrates deeply to protect against oils, wine, coffee, and everyday stains on marble, granite, and other natural stones.
Step 5: Apply the Stone Polish
Finish by using Lustro Italiano Aerosol Stone Polish 1–2 times per month. Simply spray on, allow to haze, and wipe clean. This step enhances shine, adds a protective layer, and maintains the sealer to keep your marble gleaming.
Warning: Lustro Italiano Stone Sealer does not prevent etching caused by acidic substances. Avoid contact with wine, citrus, vinegar, or tomato-based products. For etch restoration, always use the Etch and Water Mark Remover.
