This will vary depending on how much you use your countertops. For example, in my home we have a family of 4 with 2 girls ages 13,14. And we love to cook. So we use our kitchen every day. So we are a “heavy” user. I will seal my stone every 6-9 months.

For a family that is smaller or cooks only a few times per week, a “medium” user, perhaps 1 time per year will be okay. And for those couples who cook occasionally, the “light” users, every 2-3 years will be fine.
